Last year the good folks at BayVAN commissioned me for a window display project at Uptown Place. They had event called Oakland Love Notes where folks from the neighborhood wrote what Oakland meant to them. We then selected a few of these words and I created this tiled ten foot by six foot painting for their display window facing Thomas L. Berkeley Way in Oakland.
